01 The ask

A headshot client kept telling us stories. We asked to film one without a camera.

Rick Steeby's Gold Miner's Daughter: 1960, Chicken, Alaska. Neither of us knew how it would turn out.

02 The problem

There was no map.

AI video was in its infancy. The look took trial and error, and almost no one was doing this work yet to learn from.

03 The move

Draw it. Generate it. Direct every frame.

Boards by hand, stills generated to match, then turned into video. AI made the pictures. People made every decision.
